Susan Kare is an artist and graphic designer who is widely regarded as the pioneer of pixel art. Most notably, she is the creator behind many well-known graphic interface elements for the original Apple Macintosh. In this talk from the EG8 conference back in May 2014, Susan takes the audience through key stages regarding the design of her iconic glyphs and symbols that are synonymous with Apple computers from the 1980’s and beyond.
